About Paul

Paul Morassutti chairs Osler's national Real Estate Group and advises some of Canada's largest real estate companies and international retailers. His practice covers all types of commercial real estate matters, including environmental and contaminated lands issues. Morassutti has extensive experience in acquisitions and divestitures of real estate, commercial leasing, mortgage financings, and environmental matters. He is also a key contact for the firm's Retail Practice Group and is cross-appointed to the Franchise and Distribution and Environmental practice groups, and has worked extensively with the firm's Insolvency and Construction groups. He previously served on the Cabinet and Executive Committee of the Canadian Bar Association (Ontario) Real Property Section. Morassutti is recognized for his expertise by Chambers Canada, The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, and Best Lawyers in Canada.
