About Alessia
Alessia D'Aversa joined DWF's Calgary office as an associate in 2019, bringing a background in employment and family law. She now focuses on bodily injury, retail risk and product liability, while also advising employers on a range of employment matters. Alessia has appeared before the Provincial Court of Alberta and the Alberta Court of Queen's Bench, and she favours alternative dispute resolution where it can produce efficient, timely results for clients. She holds a J.D. from Thompson Rivers University and a B.A. from the University of Calgary. Alessia was called to the Alberta bar in 2019 and the Saskatchewan bar in 2022.
