About Willow

Willow Petersen focuses her practice on helping unions and their members work through pay equity law, advising clients in education, healthcare, and municipal and fire department sectors. Her work includes building gender-neutral job evaluation tools, negotiating pay equity plans, and litigating claims under provincial and federal pay equity legislation and collective agreements. She also represents unions and members at grievance arbitration and before the Ontario Labour Relations Board and other tribunals and courts. Drawing on her earlier experience as an Assistant Crown Attorney, Willow additionally represents clients facing criminal charges and workplace investigations. She earned her law degree at the University of Toronto and was called to the Ontario bar in 2018.
