About William

Will brings a civil litigation background to environmental dispute resolution, representing clients in environmental, civil and judicial review matters before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Court of Appeal for Ontario and the Federal Court. His work includes contaminated land and environmental nuisance disputes, and he guides clients from initial case assessment through any necessary appeals. He also conducts environmental due diligence and drafts environmental terms for commercial transactions. Before joining the firm, Will practiced with the litigation and environmental groups at a national firm, where he handled tort and contract disputes, class action defence and regulatory proceedings, and advised on large-scale M&A deals in the energy and industrial manufacturing sectors. He was called to the bar in 2022 and holds a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School and a B.E.S. (Honours) from the University of Waterloo.
