About Ali

Ali Naraghi is an associate whose practice focuses on environmental law and litigation, energy law, and natural resources law. He represents clients in administrative proceedings, environmental civil litigation, and regulatory prosecutions, appearing before the Ontario Land Tribunal, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and the Ontario Court of Justice. His background in physics and earlier work in an environmental technical role help him navigate complex, technical regulatory requirements for clients. Before joining Willms & Shier, he worked on administrative, constitutional, and environmental law matters and practiced before the Federal Court of Canada on judicial reviews involving the regulation of toxic substances. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2016. Ali holds a J.D. and a Master of Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School, along with a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Astronomy and Physics from the University of Toronto.
