About William

William (Bill) Boyd, KC, is counsel in the firm's St. John's office, with a background in banking and commercial law focused on real estate development, banking, medical distribution, fishing interests and charitable organizations. He holds a B.Sc. and an M.B.A. from Memorial University of Newfoundland and an LL.B. from Dalhousie University, and was called to the Newfoundland and Labrador bar in 1985. He received his Queen's Counsel appointment in 2014. Bill has served as a director of the Janeway Children's Hospital Foundation and Healthcare Insurance Reciprocal of Canada, and as a trustee of Eastern Health Regional Integrated Health Authority.
