About Sarah

Sarah Walsh is a partner in Stewart McKelvey's Halifax office with a civil litigation practice covering commercial disputes, construction law, professional negligence claims, real property disputes, and defamation. Her commercial litigation work includes contract claims, business disputes, and oppression remedy litigation, while her construction practice covers builders' liens and tendering issues. She also advises on media law issues in connection with defamation claims. She earned her JD from Dalhousie University's Schulich School of Law in 2016 and a Combined Honours degree in History and Contemporary Studies from the University of King's College in 2011. She was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2017 and serves on the Complaints Investigation Committee of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society.
