About Vance

Vance Langford is the Managing Partner of Langford Law, licensed to practise in Alberta and British Columbia, Canada, and Massachusetts, USA. He advises business owners and management on corporate structuring, financing, governance, joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations, and practises business immigration law in Canada and the US, particularly for executives, professionals, technicians, artists, and athletes. He holds an LLM from the University of Dundee, attended the Hague Academy of International Law's Private International Law session, and earned his LLB and BA in International Relations from the University of British Columbia. He has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada since 2018 and as a Leading Practitioner by the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, and is a founding member and co-president of the Canadian Immigration Lawyers Association and a past chair of the Canadian Bar Association's National Immigration Law Section. He was called to the Alberta bar in 2000, the Massachusetts bar in 2018, and the British Columbia bar in 2024.
