Jane Butcher is a civil litigator with more than ten years of experience providing litigation advice to entities and individuals, having appeared at every level of court in Alberta and the Federal Court of Canada. She has experience before regulators including the College of Physicians & Surgeons, the Law Society of Alberta, the Alberta Securities Commission, and the Human Rights Commission, and regularly advises employers and employees on employment agreements, policies, terminations, and wrongful dismissal. She earned her LLB from the University of Calgary and a BA from University of King's College and Dalhousie University, and was called to the Alberta bar in 2011. She was recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada 2025 for Corporate and Commercial Litigation.
