About Neal
Neal Wang's practice focuses on lending and secured finance transactions in Western Canada, representing corporate borrowers and institutional and private lenders, including Canadian chartered banks, credit unions, and foreign lenders, across sectors such as energy, real estate, mining, forestry, and technology. He advises on syndicated and bilateral lending, acquisition and project financing, and cross-border lending platforms, and has developed standard lending documentation for domestic and cross-border lenders. He earned his LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University and a BA from the University of British Columbia, and was called to the British Columbia bar in 1999. He has provided pro bono legal services to organizations supporting mental health, professional athletes, and emergency services, and is a former Canadian university tennis player.
