About Tyler

Tyler Murphy is an Associate lawyer at Cox & Palmer's St. John's office. Since being called to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar in June 2025, he has been building a practice focused primarily on corporate and commercial law, energy and natural resources, and maritime law. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of New Brunswick in 2024, after completing a Bachelor of Recreation and Sport Studies (Management) at UNB in 2019 and a Master of Legal Studies in Sports Law from Arizona State University's Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law in 2020. His introduction to law during that master's program sparked a lasting interest in the field and set him on a path toward a legal career focused on guiding clients through complex business and legal matters.
