About Sarah

Sarah Byrne is an associate in Stewart McKelvey's Fredericton office, called to the bar in Newfoundland and Labrador in 2020 and New Brunswick in 2025. She advises businesses and organizations on mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations, and has incorporated, amalgamated, and dissolved corporations and non-profits. Her work includes drafting corporate by-laws, employment contracts, and trademark applications, along with responding to grievances and human rights complaints. She has also acted for purchasers and vendors in residential and commercial real property transactions and prepared materials for tribunals and the Newfoundland and Labrador courts. Byrne earned her JD from Dalhousie University's Schulich School of Law in 2019 and holds a Business Law Certificate from Dalhousie, plus a B.Comm. (Honours) from Memorial University.
