About Meghan
Meghan Felt is an immigration lawyer based in St. John's, advising individuals and corporations on Canadian immigration matters ranging from temporary resident visas, study permits, and work permits to permanent residency and labour market impact assessments for hiring foreign workers. She has extensive experience with the International Mobility Program and international agreements including CUSMA, CETA, and GATS. Meghan is a member of the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Canadian Bar Association, where she chairs the CBA-NL Citizenship and Immigration Section, and she contributes to the firm's pro bono immigration services. She regularly writes on developments in immigration law and policy and provides updates for a national guide on provincial nominee programs. Meghan was named one of Lexpert's Top 40 Under 40 Lawyers in 2021. She earned her LL.B. from the University of New Brunswick in 2010 and was called to the Newfoundland and Labrador bar in 2011.
