Personal InjuryThomas Kimball was called to the bar in 2011 and practiced at a boutique personal injury firm in the GTA before joining Preszler Injury Lawyers in 2015. He earned an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Acadia University in his home province of Nova Scotia and obtained his law degree from the University of Liverpool. Thomas has conducted trials and hearings before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Small Claims Court, the Social Benefits Tribunal, the Social Security Tribunal of Canada, the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board and the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario. In Dimopoulos v. Mustafa et al, he successfully defended against a threshold motion following a jury trial in which the court found the plaintiff's injuries serious and permanent. His practice today covers occupiers' liability, motor vehicle accidents and accident benefits claims, and he is licensed to practice in both Ontario and British Columbia.
