About Sean

Sean Mitra is Of Counsel at Caravel Law and is known for quickly identifying what clients need and building a tailored strategy to meet their goals, drawing on a wide base of legal and industry knowledge to translate dense legal concepts into everyday terms. He co-founded a space start-up alongside his legal career and has practiced on all sides of regulatory law, including enforcement, compliance, and appeals work touching on merger review and privacy issues. His technology law practice blends intellectual property and corporate law: on the IP side, Sean reviews portfolios to flag areas of risk, prepares licensing agreements, and builds out filing strategies, while his corporate and commercial work includes corporate governance, contract drafting and negotiation including software-as-a-service matters, and dispute resolution.
