About Theresa
Theresa Jbeili grew up in Truro, Nova Scotia. She earned a Bachelor of Arts with honours in International Development, with a minor in Law, Justice and Society, from Dalhousie University in 2019, followed by a JD from the Schulich School of Law in 2022. She was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2023 and joined NOVA Injury Law that year, where she handles personal injury claims. During her studies she co-authored an article on border-crossing in Canada and presented research at the Society for the Study of Gloria Anzaldua conference in Texas in 2019, with the work later published in the Journal for Undergraduate Ethnography and El Mundo Zurdo 8.
