About Kallen

Kallen Heenan joined NOVA Injury Law in May 2020 after completing his articling year. Born and raised in Halifax, he holds a business management degree and a law degree from Dalhousie University, where he captained the varsity men's soccer team and was named to the Academic All-Canadian list multiple times. During law school he volunteered for two years with Legal Information Services of Nova Scotia, representing clients in Small Claims Court, and he has since appeared before Small Claims Court and the Nova Scotia Supreme Court. He also volunteered with the St. Andrew's United Church homeless shelter and Dalhousie's Special Tigers program. He lived through a serious accident in 2016 that left him with chronic pain, which he says informs how he works with injured clients.
