Business & Corporate LawTarah is an associate lawyer in the Halifax office practising estates and trusts, tax, corporate and business law, and corporate governance and compliance. She helps estate planning clients implement tax-effective strategies, including those involving beneficiaries with disabilities and charitable giving, and guides families through probate and estate administration. In the social enterprise sector she advises clients on incorporating and governing not-for-profit organizations and on obtaining charitable status. Tarah currently serves on the Easter Seals Nova Scotia Board of Directors and the NSBS Disability Equity Committee, and chairs the Charity and Non-Profit section of the Canadian Bar Association's Nova Scotia branch. She holds a J.D. from Dalhousie University's Schulich School of Law and a B.A. from Saint Mary's University, and was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2024.
