About Tara

Tara Lawson has practiced insurance law since 1994, with a particular emphasis on bodily injury defence. Born and raised in Montreal, Lawson began a career in Edmonton before spending several years as an in-house litigator for a major insurer, an experience that shaped Lawson's understanding of what insurers value from outside counsel. Tara rejoined a law firm practice with CBM Lawyers in 2009 and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association's Insurance and Civil Litigation subsections.
