About Damian

Damian Shepherd has represented insurers almost exclusively since being called to the bar, handling matters from defamation and nuisance to professional liability claims at trial, and regularly provides coverage advice, having litigated coverage disputes to the Court of Appeal. Shepherd is frequently retained by fellow lawyers as a mediator and has completed 40 hours of mediation training at Pepperdine University. Damian was called to the Alberta bar in 2003 and is also admitted in British Columbia, the Northwest Territories and Yukon, has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in Canada for Insurance Law, and teaches Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution at MacEwan University.
