About Tanci

Tanci Smart-Carvalho is a partner at TDS practicing corporate and commercial law, with an emphasis on commercial financing, commercial real estate and commercial transactions. She began her career at TDS as a summer student in 2016 and has worked at the firm since. Tanci was a director of Women Business Owners of Manitoba from 2019 to 2021 and volunteered with the Legal Help Centre from 2017 to 2019. She holds a Juris Doctor (2018) and a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction (2014), both from the University of Manitoba, and was called to the Manitoba bar in 2019.
