Stephen Perry is a co-founding shareholder at PCK with more than four decades of experience in intellectual property law and patent prosecution. He is a licensed patent agent who was named an IPIC Member of Distinction in 2025 and co-authored Canadian Patent Law, now in its fifth edition and cited by the Supreme Court of Canada. His work has guided prominent Canadian technology companies through strategic patent filings and global IP portfolio development, spanning electronics, software, telecommunications, and medical technologies including imaging systems and devices. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Queen's University and belongs to CPATA, IPIC, INTA, AIPLA, FICPI, and Professional Engineers Ontario. In 1985 he received the J. Edward Maybee Memorial Award for the highest overall standing in the Canadian Patent Agents Qualifying Examination.
