Stephen Krashinsky has built a grievance arbitration practice over thirty years, representing public and private sector trade unions throughout Southern Ontario in collective agreement disputes, often defending members against improper discipline or discharge. In one notable case he persuaded an arbitrator that an employer needed a reasonable basis before surreptitious video surveillance could be used as evidence to justify a firing. He also represents industrial and construction trade unions before the Ontario Labour Relations Board in certification, unfair labour practice, and jurisdictional matters. His involvement in labour law began as a summer law student for the UAW during the 1978 Fleck Manufacturing strike. Stephen is a member of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers and has been consistently recognized in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory and Best Lawyers in Canada.
