About Brendan

Brendan Lowry joined Tierney Stauffer LLP as an articling student in 2023 and, after being called to the bar in 2024, returned as an associate in the civil litigation department. During his articling term he appeared frequently before the Ontario Small Claims Court, the Landlord and Tenant Board, the Social Security Tribunal of Canada, and the Superior Court of Justice. He is building his civil litigation practice with a particular focus on employment law. Brendan earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen's University in 2019 and returned there for his Juris Doctor, completed in 2023. He works out of the Ottawa office and travels to the firm's other locations as needed, and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the County of Carleton Law Association, and the Ottawa Construction Association.
