About Emily
Emily Tierney began working at Tierney Stauffer LLP part-time as an administrative and legal assistant before completing her LL.B. in 2013 and moving into an articling position with the firm. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2014 and joined as an associate in the corporate and commercial practice group. Her solicitor's practice focuses on business law services for new and established business owners, including incorporations, shareholders' agreements, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate reorganizations. She also advises on commercial and residential real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, refinancing, and leasing. Emily holds a B.A. from Carleton University (2010) and an LL.B. from the National University of Ireland, Galway (2012), and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the County of Carleton Law Association.
