About Sonya

Sonya Mann's practice is focused on commercial law, particularly financing and secured lending transactions. She has experience with refinancing, acquisition, construction, and multi-jurisdictional matters, both conventional and CMHC insured, and routinely acts on lending transactions across Canada. Sonya earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Manitoba (2018) and her Juris Doctor from the University of North Dakota School of Law (2022), followed by a Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation in 2023. She was called to the bar in Manitoba and Alberta in 2024, and in Ontario in 2025. She speaks Punjabi and serves as a lay person on the Investigations Committee of Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba.
