About Sharon

Sharon Cartmill-Lane practices employment and labour law, with a large part of her work devoted to conducting and advising on workplace investigations, primarily on behalf of employers. She has more than twenty-five years of experience in human rights and labour and employment law, including large-scale, complex, and highly sensitive investigations for both union and non-union organizations. She has appeared before superior courts in British Columbia, Alberta, and Manitoba, as well as before human rights tribunals and labour relations boards. She was called to the bar in Manitoba, Alberta, and British Columbia, and was previously a partner at Taylor McCaffrey LLP in Manitoba before joining Pearlman Lindholm, where she now serves as Managing Director. She currently co-chairs the CBABC Investigations Section and speaks regularly on labour and employment topics.
