About Sean
Sean Chambers is a partner in the Insurance Litigation group at Beard Winter and was called to the bar in 2008. He primarily represents insurers facing claims tied to occupiers' liability, accident benefits, commercial general liability, personal injury, and commercial host liability, and also acts for insurance brokers defending professional negligence allegations as well as school boards in various disputes. Sean takes a pragmatic, cost-conscious approach aimed at resolving matters efficiently for his clients, and has appeared before the Licence Appeal Tribunal, the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, and the Ontario Court of Appeal. He studied philosophy at the University of Toronto before attending law school at Queen's University, where he received the Canada Law Book Prize in Torts.
