About Sanjeev
Sanjeev is a partner focusing on corporate and commercial law, securities, and banking and financial services, with particular attention to corporate finance deals, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance work. He represents public and private corporations across industries such as healthcare, retail, technology and natural resources, handling cross-border financings, restructurings, proxy contests and secured lending matters. He also assists clients with regulatory filings and dealings with securities commissions and Canadian stock exchanges. Earlier in his career he held a seat on the OSC's Continuous Disclosure Advisory Committee and completed a secondment inside the Commission's Corporate Finance Branch. Before his call to the Bar, Sanjeev worked as a pharmacist in Manitoba and Ontario, experience he still draws on in his legal analysis. He began at the firm as an articling student and now chairs its Student Committee, sits on its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, and leads a pro bono initiative supporting BIPOC-owned businesses through the firm's partnership with Canada Basketball.
