About Zev

Zev is Co-Chair of the firm's Real Estate Department and Co-Chair of its Financial Services Group. He advises owners, developers, lenders, landlords, and tenants on multi-residential, seniors living, hospitality, and commercial properties, focusing on acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and complex real estate financings. He regularly acts for Tier 1 commercial mortgage lenders, Schedule I banks, lending syndicates, and corporate borrowers, and has particular expertise in structuring and closing CMHC-insured financing transactions. Zev also maintains a corporate-commercial practice covering asset and share acquisitions and corporate structuring for private and public companies. He holds an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School, an MBA from the Schulich School of Business, and a BAS from York University, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2004.
