About Ruth

Ruth Trask is a partner in Stewart McKelvey's St. John's office, called to the Newfoundland and Labrador bar in 2010. Her practice focuses on labour and employment law, including hearings and appeals before administrative tribunals, labour arbitrators and the courts, and advising on hiring, terminations and workplace accommodation. She also advises statutory and regulatory bodies on administrative law and procedural fairness. Trask earned her JD with distinction from the University of Western Ontario in 2009 and a BMus with honours from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2006. She has been recognized by Best Lawyers for labour and employment law and rated by Lexpert for employment law.
