About Stephen

Stephen Orr was born and raised in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. He received his LLB from the University of New Brunswick in 2010 and was called to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar in 2011. His litigation practice focuses on criminal law, civil litigation and personal injury, with extensive trial and appellate experience at all levels of court in the province, including disciplinary proceedings before administrative tribunals. Outside of practice he is involved with the Hockey Newfoundland and Labrador Officiating Program as Zone Coordinator for Officials in the Avalon region, and continues to officiate senior and junior hockey as a Level VI official.
