About Adam

Adam Downie represents clients in insurance, construction, and commercial litigation matters, working to understand each legal issue from the client's perspective. His recent work includes representing automobile insurance companies in property damage, personal injury, and subrogation matters, representing commercial and professional negligence insurers, and representing municipalities in negligent inspection claims. He also acts for contractors, homeowners, owners, and subcontractors in residential and commercial construction disputes, and represents shareholders in oppression claims. Downie earned his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Leeds in 2015, a Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University in 2016, and a BComm from Saint Mary's University in 2012.
