About Rupam
Rupam Rishi is an associate at Mogan Daniels Slager LLP focusing on corporate and commercial matters for businesses at various stages. Her practice covers the purchase and sale of businesses and real estate, corporate structuring and governance, corporate reorganizations, debt and equity financing, and shareholder, joint venture, and partnership agreements, along with leasing and other corporate proceedings. Before joining MDS, she worked as a solicitor at two Fraser Valley law firms, and her transaction experience spans real estate, trucking, forestry, insurance, retail, banking, education, and healthcare, including acquisitions of manufacturing, insurance, pharmacy, and retail businesses. She volunteers with the Surrey Food Bank and has co-authored real estate law materials for the Continuing Legal Education Society of BC. She earned her B.B.A. with Honours and Distinction from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University in 2013 and her J.D. from the University of Victoria in 2017, and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2018.
