About Ronald

Ronald (Ron) A. Pink, K.C., is a founder and managing partner of Pink Larkin, currently on a temporary leave from practice. Over five decades he built one of Canada's largest pension and benefits legal practices and has litigated pension issues nationally, while also representing Canadian trade and professional organizations across transportation, education, media, construction, public service, and health care in collective bargaining and governance matters. He is ranked AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell and received his King's Counsel designation in 1991. He was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers in 2006 and the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers in 2010, and was named Best Lawyers in Canada's 2016 Halifax Lawyer of the Year for Employee Benefits Law. He has served as President of the Canadian Bar Association's Nova Scotia Branch and President of the Continuing Legal Education Society of Nova Scotia, and marked 50 years at the bar in 2026. He earned his LL.B. from Dalhousie University and an LL.M. from the University of London, and was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 1974.
