About Ron
Ron studied psychology at Queen's University before graduating from Queen's Law in 1981, and was called to the bar in 1983. He was a senior partner at Strike Furlong Ford until 2016, when he merged his practice into Davidson Cahill Morrison LLP, where he now works as counsel out of the Bowmanville office. He practices personal injury law exclusively, representing plaintiffs only, though he did insurance defence work earlier in his career. He has litigated numerous catastrophic injury cases at local, national, and international levels and has represented seriously injured clients for more than 40 years. He's a Certified Risk Manager and belongs to the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Durham Region Law Association, and the Canadian Bar Association, and has been recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada for personal injury litigation since 2024.
