About Hayden Cantor

Hayden Cantor is an associate lawyer at Bergel Magence LLP, and every file Hayden takes on is for someone who's been injured or for that person's family. Hayden brings deliberate negotiating strategy to each stage of a claim, with the aim of getting clients the fullest award their case can support. Once a visit is booked, Hayden's team commits to meeting the client and family at home within 48 hours, or in a hospital room within 24 hours.

Hayden's route to the bar began with business studies. At Western University, the focus was management, policy and ethics, leading to a BMOS in 2015, and while living in London, Ontario, Hayden volunteered at a criminal law practice in town and helped run lectures for a business law class at Brescia University College. At the University of Ottawa, Hayden started the Tort Law Society and led it as president for three straight years, and in the summer of 2018 Harvard Business School granted Hayden its Certificate in Negotiation Mastery. Hayden earned a JD in 2019, and the Ontario call came in 2020.

Hayden believes in giving back to people in need and co-created a basketball tournament that raised money for Reena, an organization serving people with developmental disabilities. Off the clock, you'll find Hayden with family and friends, rooting for the Toronto Raptors or out for a round of golf.
