About Robert

Robert Watchman is Pitblado's senior intellectual property lawyer, providing advice and representation on trademarks, copyright, patent, industrial design, and plant-breeders rights matters. His litigation practice focuses on applications for judicial review, labour and employment matters, human rights complaints, matters before the Specific Claims Tribunal, appellate advocacy including appeals to the Supreme Court of Canada, and matters within the jurisdiction of the Federal Courts. Robert was called to the Manitoba Bar in 1985 and to the Ontario Bar in 1984, and earned his LL.B. from the University of Manitoba in 1982.
