About Raumina

Raumina Rezai is a family lawyer at YLaw's Vancouver office who previously worked as an elementary school teacher. At the University of Victoria's Faculty of Law she served as a first-year class representative, President of the Law Student Society, and founder of the Trial Lawyers Association of BC's UVic chapter, and competed on the school's Gale Cup moot team. She spent a term at the UVic Law Centre handling files in criminal, family, residential tenancy, and human rights law for clients who could not afford a lawyer, and met regularly with inmates at William Head Institution as one of the Centre's representatives. She holds a Bachelor of Education from McGill University, where she received the Scarlet Key award, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria's Faculty of Law. She speaks English and Farsi.
