About Rafik

Rafik Kodsy holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario and an Honours BA in Criminology from York University. His legal career started during law school, when he worked as a caseworker at Community Legal Services, a legal aid clinic in London, Ontario, representing people who couldn't afford private counsel. After summering and articling with a Toronto criminal defence firm now known as Rusonik, O'Connor, Ross, Hershberg, Ghebrai & MacDonald LLP, he stayed on as a trial lawyer there. Rafik defends clients facing criminal and quasi-criminal charges across Ontario, mainly in Toronto and Brampton, and takes a keen interest in cases involving unlawful police stops and searches.
