About Brian
Brian Ross is a partner known for thorough trial preparation in serious criminal matters, including a first-degree murder case noted in Peter Edwards' true-crime writing. He trained under Jack Pinkofsky and James Lockyer, became a partner at Pinkofskys, and later co-founded this firm alongside Reid Rusonik, Liam O'Connor and other former Pinkofskys lawyers. Brian graduated with an Honours degree in Psychology and published journal articles before attending Osgoode Hall Law School, where he served as a Criminal Division Leader with the Community and Legal Aid Services Program and worked on the Innocence Project, including the clemency case of Leonard Peltier. He defends clients charged with the full range of criminal offences across Ontario, appears frequently in high-profile trials, and has spoken at legal conferences on developments in criminal law.
