About Rachel

Rachel Turnpenney is a partner and co-founder of Turnpenney Milne LLP with more than two decades of experience in employment law and workplace investigations. Turnpenney acts as counsel to both employers and employees on wrongful and constructive dismissal matters and human rights applications, and as a neutral, provides strategic advice on workplace culture concerns including harassment. Turnpenney has been retained and qualified as an expert witness in litigation relating to harassment and harassment prevention programs, and holds the Association of Workplace Investigators' AWI-CH designation. Turnpenney is among a select group of investigators on the Federal Registry who may be appointed to conduct investigations under the Work Place Harassment and Violence Prevention Regulations. Turnpenney was called to the Ontario bar in 2003 and the British Columbia bar in 2018, and has been recognized as a Canadian Lexpert-ranked lawyer for multiple years.
