About Asha
Asha Rampersad is an employment lawyer and investigator focused on human rights litigation, disability management, and complex workplace investigations. Rampersad has represented crown corporations, municipalities and large private sector clients in grievance arbitration proceedings and has worked with their human resources teams on equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives. Rampersad has conducted sensitive, high-profile investigations for provincially and federally regulated employers, universities, colleges, school boards, police services, and Indigenous employers. For 14 years Rampersad taught a Constitutional Law course at Wilfrid Laurier University and has been quoted in the Law Times and appeared as a guest expert on CBC Radio. Rampersad was called to the Ontario bar in 2008 after obtaining a law degree from the University of Windsor, graduating in the top 15% of the class.
