About Rachael

Rachael Belford practises commercial real estate law with the Real Estate Group at Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall, which she joined in 2018 after her summer and articling terms with the firm. She works with buyers, sellers, lenders, landlords, tenants and investors, with particular experience in commercial leasing, including negotiating offers, leases and related documents. Belford earned her J.D. from Queen's University in 2017 and a B.Sc. in Biological Sciences from Brock University in 2014, and during law school she volunteered with the Queen's Family Law Clinic and Queen's Elder Law Clinic. She was included in the 2025 and 2026 editions of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Canada for her work in real estate law.
