About Philippe

Phil is an experienced litigator who handles complex multi-party disputes for individuals, insurers, family run businesses and corporations. Since his call to the bar in 2007 he has worked on professional liability, commercial litigation, insurance defence and coverage matters, construction disputes, estate litigation, property disputes, environmental contamination and expropriation matters. He spent a decade as in-house defence counsel with the Law Society of New Brunswick's Professional Liability Reserve Fund, which gave him particular insight into litigation prevention and risk management. He is fluently bilingual in French and English, has argued in both languages at all levels of court in New Brunswick, and taught for many years at the province's Bar Course. Phil earned his LL.B. from the University of New Brunswick in 2006 and a Bachelor of Commerce from Mount Allison University in 2003, and was called to the New Brunswick bar in 2007.
