About Peter
Peter Salerno is a partner at Green and Spiegel LLP in Toronto who has practiced exclusively in Canadian immigration and citizenship law for more than a decade. He advises Fortune 500 employers, emerging companies, non-profits, and individuals on temporary and permanent residence, citizenship, and admissibility matters, including visas, study and work permits, and complex inadmissibility and refusal cases. Peter has appeared before the Federal Court of Canada, the Ontario Superior Court, and the Immigration Appeal and Immigration Divisions. He co-authored a book on temporary entry into the Canadian labour market and has taught courses in Queen's University's Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law program. Peter earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa in 2015 and a B.A. (Hons.) in history from York University in 2012, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2016.
