About Peter-Paul

Peter-Paul E. Du Vernet is Counsel with a wide-ranging civil and commercial litigation and arbitration practice. He has appeared before trial and appellate courts, including the Supreme Court of Canada, in actions, applications, administrative proceedings and arbitrations. His work has touched construction, defamation, disciplinary prosecutions, insurance, professional negligence, real estate, trusts, wills and estates, mining, receivership, bankruptcy and insolvency, partnership and shareholder disputes, and securities matters. He has represented individuals, partnerships, trusts, private and public companies, and not-for-profit organizations before courts, boards, commissions, and arbitral tribunals both in Canada and abroad. He belongs to the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, and The Advocates' Society, and has repeatedly instructed on civil litigation and debtor and creditor rights for the Ontario Bar Admission Course.
