About Terrance

An associate in the firm's Advocacy department in Hamilton and Toronto, Terrance Li supports clients navigating complex business disputes including contractual claims, shareholder matters and regulatory issues. Before joining Gowling WLG, he practised law in Beijing for nearly a decade, handling media rights and licensing agreements, copyright and competition litigation, and investment and shareholder disputes for clients in sports and entertainment and the technology, media and telecommunications sectors. He received the 2026 David Stockwood Memorial Prize from The Advocates' Society for an article on advocacy writing.
