About Paul
Paul Taylor is a partner with Osler's Financial Services Group in Calgary. He practices banking law, with experience in secured and unsecured financing, including term, construction, real estate, and CMHC-insured financings, as well as syndicated and cross-border facilities. Paul also practices commercial real estate law, covering purchase and sale transactions, commercial leasing, and the development of renewable energy and construction projects. He began his legal career as a litigator and has appeared before courts at all levels, often working through foreclosures and loan enforcement matters. Paul acts for banks, credit unions, life insurance companies, and private lenders, as well as borrowers, on complex financings.
