About Adam

Adam Kardash heads Osler's national Privacy and Data Management practice and is regarded as one of Canada's leading authorities in the field. He has acted as lead counsel in many of the country's most significant privacy matters, guiding Fortune 500 companies through data protection challenges, compliance projects and governance planning, and representing clients facing regulatory scrutiny or security breaches. He holds advisory roles with the Interactive Advertising Bureau of Canada and the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada, and counsels chief privacy officers and in-house teams across health, public and private sectors on breach response, investigations and anti-spam obligations. Adam has also worked on numerous technology transactions, including licensing and outsourcing deals, and formerly taught an MBA course on electronic commerce law at York University's Schulich School of Business. He leads AccessPrivacy, an Osler consulting service that connects privacy officers and in-house counsel from many leading Canadian companies.
